1. The Data we Collect
We only collect the minimum amount of data required to maintain the network and deliver the Source Code. This includes:
- Email Addresses: Collected when you subscribe to updates, purchase certain products, create or use an MBP Drone account, or request support.
- MBP Drone account data: Your email address, account status, access level, authentication records, and session information.
- Transaction data: Purchases through Gumroad, Amazon, or PayPal may generate transaction identifiers, subscription information, payment status, purchase amount, and related billing records. Payment credentials such as full credit card numbers are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser or device information, security and rate-limit records, and similar technical information may be processed to operate the service, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and protect accounts.
- Website analytics and embedded services: Where used, services such as Meta or YouTube may receive technical information according to their own privacy policies.
- Local MBP Drone data: MBP Drone may store application preferences, cached audio, application files, and signed access information locally on your device so that supported features can continue to work offline.
2. How we Use your Data
We use personal data only for purposes connected with the MBP network and its products, including:
- Product and service delivery: Providing books, scores, MBP Drone access, downloads, account features, and purchased services.
- Authentication and account management: Sending login codes, maintaining sessions, determining account access, and supporting offline authorization.
- Billing and customer service: Processing purchases and subscriptions, confirming payment status, managing upgrades, cancellations, refunds, disputes, and support requests.
- Security and abuse prevention: Protecting accounts and services, enforcing rate limits, preventing automated abuse, and investigating technical or security problems.
- Network updates: Sending updates that you have requested or subscribed to.
- Service improvement: Understanding how the website and products are used so we can maintain and improve them.
We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers.
Where European data-protection law applies, processing is generally based on one or more of the following: providing a service or product you requested, complying with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or your consent where consent is required.
3. Third-Party Services
The MBP network utilizes external “Universal APIs” to function:
- PayPal: MBP Drone payments, subscriptions, refunds, and related payment processing.
- Gumroad: For secure e-commerce and file distribution.
- Amazon: For printed books or Kindle ebooks.
- Google reCAPTCHA: Protection of MBP Drone authentication forms against automated abuse, fraud, and malicious activity.
- Meta/YouTube: For brand communication and video demonstrations.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies and terms.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Account and service records may be retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward. Payment and transaction records may be retained where necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations. Security and technical records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operation and protection of the service.
Data stored locally by MBP Drone may remain on your device until you clear the browser or application storage, uninstall the application, or the application removes or replaces the stored data.
